Sergeant Jimmy Mapham, the AFPU photographer, was 'embedded' with 13/18th Hussars for the Normandy landings. He took an extensive series of photographs of their vehicles and those of units operating alongside before, during and after D-Day. Some of the pictures are very famous and have been used to encapsulate the Invasion. I strongly recommned looking up the collection on the Imperial War Museum's website. The thumbnails below are H38970, H38987, H38992, H38995, H38998 and B5110.
