5cm Fest Pak

An all-new kit of the converted tank gun which was used extensively in the German Atlantik Wall.  Built for the forthcoming Typ 667 bunker, this kit comes with  both long and short barrel versions of the weapon and is stunningly detailed.

The 5cm Festung Pak was a makeshift design utilising the weapons from obsolete Panzer III tanks, mounted on a basic frame structure.  They were used widely in strongpoints along the Atlantic coast and inland.  Examples are still to be found in Normandy in a variety of structures from open Tobruk stands (like that at Pegasus Bridge) to fully enclosed bunkers (like the one on Omaha Beach in the former Wildesnest 65).
