| Mulberry Harbour
The first components of our new Mulberry Harbour range will be available at Euro Militaire in Folkestone, 20th and 21st September 2008. Go to the Milicast Stand to see our display. For the first time the famous Mulberry harbour is being brought to market as a 1/76 scale kit. Here are some photographs of the prototype to wet your appetite.
The first components are: Whale Roadway Section This kit is made up from 31 resin parts and 34 etched brass parts. It is 32cm long and captures all of the detail of the original. Cost of the Whale Roadway is £34.95 .
Concrete Beetle This Beetle was the most commonly used to carry the roadway out into the harbour, away from the beach. It is an all resin kit totalling 37 parts complete with building instructions, painting diagram, and a schematic diagram showing how the roadway is seated. Cost of the Concrete Beetle is £19.95
Steel Beetle As the roadway approached the shore the Beetles needed to be more robust in order to survive the battering the tide would inflict. The model has 19 resin parts and full illustrated instructions. Cost of the Steel Beetle is £19.95
Pier Beetle For the final run of roadway to the beach the Pier Beetle was used. These were supported above the beach - initially using the steel legs and subsequently on concrete filled sandbags. Our kit comprises 33 resin parts and 8 etched brass parts Cost of the Pier Beetle is £24.95
