Panther ausf A (zimmerit)
The Ausf. A was the second series of the ground-breaking Panther series, and followed the Ausf D. Over two thousand were produced between August 1943 and May 1944. They saw combat in Russia, Italy and NW Europe where they were the most numerous type encountered, remaining in service until the end of hostilities.
This model has been finished with a finely detailed layer of zimmerit paste which was applied to most German AFV's from late 1943. It is cast by Milicast Models from a master model by Dan Taylor.
