Sherman DD (Skirts raised)

The famous swimming tank concept created by Nicholas Straussler.  This detailed resin model  depicts the Sherman Mk V type used for D-Day with its canvas sides in the raised position for swimming (the Mks II and III are also believed to have been converted).  Included in the kit are the fine struts which supported the screens from the inside and the final drive propellor system.
