27th Armoured Brigade - set 1
This set provides the markings for 13/18 Hussars as portrayed in the photographs taken by AFPU photographer Jimmy Mapham in the days leading up to, and on, D-Day. For D-Day 13/18 Hussars was one of three regiments that made up 27 Armoured Brigade which supported 3rd Infantry Division. These vehicles were carried by 41 LCT Flotilla to Sword Beach and the regiment served on throughout the campaign in north-west Europe.
The set includes markings for 2 x Sherman III (M4A2) early versions, 3 x Sherman III; 1 Sherman Vc Firefly, 3 x Sherman V (Duplex Drive); and 1 Sherman III ARV Mk I.
