30mm Rarden Cannon

The L21A1 Rarden is a semi automatic weapon produced from the early 1970s and still in use today.  It was fitted to CVRW Fox armoured car, Scimitar and Sabre light tanks, Warrior MCV and also in a version of the FV432 APC fitted with the Fox turret, all used by the British Army. 

This precision engineered turned metal barrel is ideal for 1/72 and 1/76 vehicle conversions.

Safety Instructions (GPSR)

Safe use of our products is always a concern. Fortunately, the specialist nature of our sets mean that they are almost exclusively used by experienced modellers, used to dealing with the materials employed. However, to clarify, there are two main materials which require care - and must only be used for the intended purpose - to help build an authentic small-scale version of the original.

Etched Brass - Frets may have sharp edges, take care when handling. Parts are small so keep them away from young children and pets.

Resin - Resin dust can be carcinogenic (it can affect your lungs and has been implicated in instances of cancer). Nevertheless, it is straightforward to prevent harm. When sanding or sawing resin, do so in a well ventilated space and use an appropriate mask. Dampened Wet'n'Dry paper is good at trapping small particles when sanding. Vacuum your working area when completed. Again, keep away from small children or pets.

Conversion kits - We've just taken on a couple of new sets of machine-gun barrels bu Master: the MG34 and the MG34 Panzerlauten. Our most recent conversion sets for the Crusader Gun Tractor (converts the S-Model or IBG 1/72 Crusader kits) and the Sherman Mk V Deep Wading kit (fits all 1/72 M4A4 Sherman Mk V kits).

Transfer sets: Two new sets have just been posted up - 29 Armoured Brigade, set 2 provides markings for 3rd Royal Tank Regiment in northwest Europe. Inter-War Armoured Cars of the Sharpshooters is perhaps a little more specialised for a slightly more unusual set of model subjects.

Transfers - Another batch is in preparation to include a few sets that have been out of the range for a bit plus some all-new sets.  We are looking to cover some Panthers in Normandy along with some Royal Artillery related vehicles.
