AFPU
It is thanks to the men of the Army Film and Photographic Unit (and equivalent units in other countries) that we have so lavish a reference library of the Second World War. This set of three figures commemorates their activities. The film cameraman may be used in hand held mode, or the parts for a tripod are also supplied. The still cameraman is based on a photograph of Sgt Jimmy Mapham - probably the most famous member of the unit. The third figure is jotting notes or a letter home, leaning against his vehicle.He is actually based on a 13/18 Hussars photograph but fits this set so well that he had to be included.
