Desert Stowage
One of the most significant features of British and Commonwealth tanks in the Western Desert campaign was the amount of external stowage loosely tied to the vehicles. Freed from the restrictions of operating in narrow country lanes at home, tank crews eagerly adopted a Bedouin outlook, and pride was taken in collecting all manner of oddments, escape bags and tarpaulins, strung on runners on either side of their tank.
This set provides a number of rolled canvas sections, tarpaulins, fuel and ammunition stowage. It is ideal for attachment to A13s, Crusaders, Grants and Shermans and there are enough parts for a couple of tanks to be adorned. The set is provided in unpainted resin.
