Dorchester ACV (High Power)

As wireless equipment became more powerful, improved versions of the Dorchester, with higher rated generators became necessary - resulting in the High Power version of the Dorchester ACV.  Besides the addition of cooling grills and an increase from three to six antenna bases, most of the adaptation appears cosmetic, designed to make the vehicle look more like a standard lorry, so that it did not attract undue enemy attention.  The false 'bonnet' (which was not always fitted), and rounded roof, added to create this effect make the HP readily identifiable. Its date of introduction is unclear but photographs of vehicles in service seem to appear from the summer of 1943.

Markings are provided for two HP ACVs and two of the very similar engineer/sapper ADVs (Armorued Demolition Vehicles).
