Half-track Drive & Idler Wheels
The ubiquitous Half-track was a common feature of battlefields in the latter half of the Second World War. With numerous manufactures, a large number of sub-types were produced - M2, M3, M5, M9 to name but a few, and they all used common parts for their running gear. The most eye-catching elements, the open fretwork of the drive and idler wheels are impossible to recreate in plastic and so this set tackles the problem in resin and etched brass.
Using a simple method of assembly, the set builds both pairs of wheels in extraordinary detail. The parts then replace those on the kit. Though created for the Airfix kit, this set is easily adapted to other models of the Half-track
