Humber Scout Car Mk II

The Rootes Group began production of a Scout Car based on the chassis of their Light Reconnaissance car in 1942, as an alternative to the Daimler Dingo Scout Car. The only easily visible identifying feature for the Mk II was a raised section in front of the driver to make it easier to use the steering wheel.

This all new injection moulded plastic kit is the first designed in-house by Modelworks.  It contains 62 finely detailed parts that build into a precise reproduction of the original vehicle, based on measurements of a restored vehicle. This is a limited run model with only 1,000 units to be made.

To be offered in five versions, this boxing includes precise markings (decals) for three Mk II Humber Scouts: A vehicle 59th Heavy Regiment, Royal Artillery; a vehicle of TP1, Czechoslovakian Armoured Brigade; and a post-war Belgian vehicle of 1 Regt te Paard.
