M9A1 Half-track Conversion Set
The Airfix Half-track is a perennial favourite which is now getting a little long in the tooth. It is also based on an M14 which is one of the lesser known subtypes. Our conversion set allows you to modify and update the vehicle to depict the type chiefly employed as an armoured personnel carrier by British & Commonwealth motorized infantry units in the last two years of the war: the M9A1.
As well as the more obvious features of the M9A1 like the curved rear corners of the body and the flat profile mud guards, the set helps to refine the interior and provide better scale thickness details throughout. The set provides nearly 50 etched brass parts and 30 resin parts and comes with fully illustrated instructions.
