Reconnaissance Regiments - Infantry Divisions

In the 1944 iteration of British divisional organisation, each infantry division was allocated its own armoured car regiment. Their composition allowed for 57 Humber armoured cars and 54 light reconnaissance cars, plus other vehicles for various reconnaissance roles.

This set provides markings suitable for the armoured and light reconnaissance cars for each of the divisions deployed in Normandy.  As the photographic record is thin, these markings are generic, based on the few examples seen.  Seven Humber Armoured Car WD numbers are providedplus four for Humber LRCs.  Also included is a single Morris LRC, though they were meant to have been exclusive to the RAF (this is based on a photograph seeming to show a Morris apparently in a divisional recce unit).
