Sharpshooters Pub Signs
A set of three postcards depicting the pub signs used by A Squadron, B Squadron and RHQ Squadron, 3 County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), between 1939 and 1945. They come complete with historical explanatory notes. Illustrated here are original wartime photographs on which the artwork is based. You will note that the Contented Penguin went through a number of versions and these are two examples from which the colour version extracts different elements.
This is a fundraising special for the Kent & Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum (based at Hever Castle in Kent) to which all profits of this set will be given.
