Sherman III ARV Mk I (Deep Wading) Conversion Set
In order to recover damaged tanks under fire on the battlefield, armoured regiments were issued with two Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARV). Where possible, they were of the same vehicle type as the gun tanks within the unit and so would not attract undue attention and enjoying a similar level of armour protection. Therefore, in Normandy, three brigades that operated Sherman Mk IIIs would have also operated this vehicle.
This is a 1/72 scale kit intended for the Heller Sherman M4A2 and will also fit Dragon's Sherman Mk III. Our kit comes in etched brass and resin which includes parts to adapt the tank for deep wading. All of the engineering equipment is included along with stowage.
