Slanted Post Obstacle, Mined
These obtacles were sunk into the beach close to low tide where they would quickly become covered by the incoming surf. Jagged edges along their top would pierce the hull of landing craft as they passed over them. Some had mines attached to make them even more lethal. When in place, the taller end should face inland.
