Vickers Medium Mk II

The belief that no European war was likely in the two decades following the First World War meant that a very low priority was given to tank development.  Consequently, Vickers-Armstrong built only 100 of their Medium Mk II from 1925. These were developed and reworked to stay in service through to 1939.  Some tanks were retained for training at the start of WWII and a couple were even used in action in the Western Desert in 1941.

Markings for 8 tanks are provided in this set, including Medium Mk II, Mk II * and Mk II A. Milicast produce kits of these vehicles based on our master, and these are available through Modelworks - see below.
